I’ve been writing for Apple platforms since NeXTSTEP — Objective-C through OS X, iOS since 2008.
The arc, briefly: independent App Store work in Kentucky (CoachCal hit #1 in Sports in 2009), then teaching Cocoa at Big Nerd Ranch in Atlanta, then a stretch of enterprise tech-lead work — IBM iX building Citi’s first all-Swift retail banking app, the Watch companion that shipped alongside it, feature work at AmEx, Capital One, Walmart. Co-founded PreventScripts in 2014 (HIPAA, remote patient monitoring) and built the original iOS app.
These days I’m at Fork Development building agentic on-device iOS on Foundation Models and App Intents — typed Swift as the tool-calling layer, so the model dispatches to verified data instead of hallucinating context.
