Surveyr · visionOS · field measurement instrument
Walk the perimeter of a grading job and watch the cut/fill volume estimate update live on the Vision Pro display as your scan covers more ground — before you’ve taken a single measurement by hand.
The Platr suite has county-wide terrain at 2-foot resolution from the 2024 state flyover. Surveyr is its complement: real-time LiDAR capture from Vision Pro hardware, giving you ground-truth terrain at the moment of the scan rather than interpolated from a flyover that may be months old and can’t resolve recent grading, fill, or construction.
For a landscaper or earthworks contractor estimating a job, the question is not what the county DEM says the grade is. It’s what the grade is now, on this specific site, after whatever was done to it last season. Surveyr captures that.
Walk the site. Vision Pro builds a 3D model of the ground as you cover it. Surveyr segments that model into slope zones — flat, gradable, steep — and computes cut/fill volume in real time as coverage improves. No manual measurement steps; the walk is the measurement.
The core distinction from county data: a 2022 DEM flyover is the state’s best measurement of ground elevation at that moment. A Surveyr scan is the current measurement of this specific site at this specific moment — after the pad was graded, after the pond was dug, after the building was demo’d. The two data sources answer different questions; Surveyr is the one that’s useful on a bid day.
Surveyr has not started. The target user is a landscaper or earthworks contractor working sites in the 0.1–50 acre range — the scale where a Vision Pro walk is practical and a survey crew is expensive. The first real scan session will tell us what the hardware reveals that the spec didn’t anticipate; that finding will lead the page when it ships.
