Ask your county anything.
On-device. Cited.
Type any question a property owner, county assessor, or local realtor would ask. Chatr figures out which lookups to run, gathers the answers, and writes a cited response — on-device, with no network required.
Chatr is the meta-app in the Platr suite. It doesn’t own any data — it orchestrates. Everything available in Walk, Holdings, Surfacr, Appraisr, and Acres is callable directly, which means Chatr can combine results from multiple apps in a single conversational answer. Ask about a specific parcel: Walk answers it. Ask about an owner’s full portfolio and flood exposure: Holdings and Surfacr answer it together, in one response.
How Chatr stays honest
Most chat apps try to prevent made-up answers with careful instructions. Chatr prevents them by design.
The design: every fact in a Chatr response — every parcel ID, owner name, assessed value, flood zone, sale price — traces back to a real lookup against the underlying property records. The assistant can only include something in an answer if a lookup returned it. If the lookup doesn’t return it, Chatr says it doesn’t know.
That’s what makes the conversation history meaningful: every claim in the UI links back to the lookup that produced it. Any Chatr answer can be re-run later and every value verified. The accuracy isn’t a prompt trick — it’s a consequence of how the app is wired.
The demo
“Who owns the most land near the river, and what’s their flood exposure?”
Chatr finds parcels along the river corridor, rolls up the largest owners by acreage, and pulls each one’s flood zone and terrain-based flood-exposure score. The answer comes back as a paragraph that names the entity, totals the acreage and assessed value, and flags which parcels sit in the flood path — every claim traceable to a real record. None of it requires the phone to be online.
That’s the hero screenshot — a multi-lookup answer with inline entity cards, captured with no signal. We’ll get it once the assistant is wired.

What’s not there yet
- Assistant wiring — the UI skeleton is built; the on-device assistant integration is the next major milestone for the entire suite.
- iOS 26+ required for the on-device path; a hosted fallback is available on earlier OS versions but needs a network.
- Multi-county — Chatr queries the installed county bundle. McCracken only until sister counties come online.
- Voice input — text only in v1. iOS keyboard dictation works; a dedicated voice mode is queued.
